CHARLOTTE
OUELLETTE
BIO
Charlotte Ouellette’s eclectic musical style draws inspiration from folk and pop influences and has been described as powerful, compelling, and comforting.
A Vermont native, Charlotte has been writing original songs for guitar, piano, and vocals since middle school. After graduating from UMass Amherst with a music degree, she decided to make Massachusetts her home. She has performed at local venues including Gateway City Arts, The Artist Café, Fort Hill Brewery, Saw Dust Coffee House & Dessert Bar, the Acousticool house concert series, and more. She has also performed at farmers markets, cafes, breweries, variety shows, football games, birthday parties, community events, fundraisers, and local performance venues, both as a soloist and alongside other musicians.
In June 2023, Charlotte released her first EP “Can I Have You Back?” which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Pace Ferro at Pharaoh Recording Studios. The EP includes three songs, each uniquely representing a different phase of Charlotte’s adolescence and songwriting journey.
Charlotte's most recent single "Black Eye" was released on May 10th, 2024. Based on the topic of emotional and physical turmoil in relationships, the song has also become the catalyst for the Good Love Initiative, a social media/web-based effort to educate young people on the topic of emotional and physical health in relationships. All of Charlotte's music is available for listening on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and other streaming services.
Charlotte is always looking for new and exciting opportunities to share her music and connect with audiences in western Massachusetts, New England, and beyond. In addition to teaching and performing, Charlotte is completing a Master of Arts in Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
